Symposium on leaded gasoline May 20, 2025

Video of an informal online public symposium on the 100th anniversary of the Public Health Service conference regarding the  danger of leaded gasoline was taken May 20, 2025.

The 1925 conference was a watershed event in environmental history. It is worth recalling today as we enter an era of environmental deregulation.

This symposium featured distinguished speakers in history and environmental science, including Dr. Bruce Lanphear, Dr. Howard Mielke, Dr. Jerome Nriagu, Dr. David Rosner, Prof. Thomas Beller, Daniel Stone, David Hallberg, and others.Environmental History resources on leaded gasoline
