Symposium on leaded gasoline May 20, 2025

An informal online public symposium on the 100th anniversary of the Public Health Service conference regarding the  danger of leaded gasoline will be held May 20, 2025 at 10 am.

The 1925 conference was a watershed event in environmental history. It is worth recalling today as we enter an era of environmental deregulation.

This symposium features distinguished speakers in history and environmental science, including Dr. Bruce Lanphear, Dr. Howard Mielke, Dr. Jerome Nriagu, Dr. David Rosner, Prof. Thomas Beller, Daniel Stone, David Hallberg, and others.
